Using multimeter to set amp gains.

Hey guys. So im in the process of learning this Ohms law stuff. Can someone show me the formula to get the suggested voltage for my setup using a multimeter.. After seeing it ill better understand everything thank you.

This is what im reffeering too, however he didnt explain dual 1 ohm.



Soundstream Picasso 3500d amp

TWO Dual 1 ohm 12" 2krms subwoofer.

Am I wrong?

p= 3500watts

r= 3500

e= 59.16

That's correct. Or...take amps wattage and punch it into calculator and hit the square root button. Instead of doing it the long way.

For instance....1000 watt amp gain set number would be 31.62

Thanks, So I have the math right but I just looked up my amp specs and it says RMS Power @ 1Ω 1,750 x 1 (1Ω)

im running x2 subs would this affect any of this?

So Should it be this instead?

P=1750

R=1750

E=41.833

I dig the calc, but ide prefer to understand the formula first.

yeah just x wattage by final ohm load if 1750 at 1 ohm it's 1750 (are u sure it does 1750? have u seen a dyno or clamped it?) maybe should try 1500 =38.7v
