Using External Amp Fuses ?

I guess you missed that sarcasm that was dripping off my suggesting going back to college. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif
you can't be ALL BAD, you have a funky pup in your photo album.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

then again, a lot of penis reference in there too.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/eek.gif.771b7a90cf45cabdc554ff1121c21c4a.gif

that linear power amp seems to be build from a different time.

Yes, they were built long ago, in a galaxy, far, far away. One in 1991 and the other in 1994. Linear Power went out of business about 3 years ago. They had been in business for about 20+ years.

They're very hard to find these days and when you do they're pretty expensive.

They've always built class A/B and I think they missed the boat when everyone started building high wattage class D.

Plus they were always made in America.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crying.gif.ec0ebefe590df0251476573bc49e46d8.gif

just like it`d be better to have 1 fuse to worry about.
I agree with that. It would be unnecessary to place 2 fuses on each + input. Just place 1 big fuse on the main + before it hits the distro block to the two + amp inputs.

Now if your distro block is a rear battery, then yes, you need to fuse each + to the amp.

at least i know some1 actually read everything i had posted throughout the thread. i even spelled it out at 1 point. i`d rather spend a few extra bucks up front on a couple extra parts then have to replace an amp.

well guys, all the arguing aside, i appreciate the comments. however, it made me more confused regarding which way is correct? everyone made some good points
