Will i need a new alternator or extra battery?

hey guys, just wanted to know your opinions on the setup i will be running in a few weeks, curious if i will need to invest in a new alternator, or get an extra battery....

I'll be running:

Amp: Rockford t5001bd

sub: eD 12" 13Av.2

Wires: the 12v power wire and the Ground wire will be 0/1 gauge

and a 1.5 farad capacitor

I should be fine with this setup without having to upgrade anything major, just wanted to get some experts opinons, thanks

get rid of the cap and you should be able to run that amp on factory alt, batt and wiring

You should be fine on stock electrical. and lose the cap.

no...you will require more power from the alt when the cap is trying to recharge

in car audio, a cap will work for "kick drum" or instant cone movement, but with a sustained note, the cap will discharge and then become a load

u shouldnt gettin any dimming with 500 watts.but if u did, just do the big 3, it should cure any dimming issues.
