Using a car amplifier at home ?

Hook up 120V AC directly to rail transformer and disconnect the timer and FETs ....

i use this to run a kicker 600.1.i use it alot and i push it .works great for me.i got mine from ebay though.but u get the idea.

just spend 125-150$$ and get a plate amp that was made to run off of 120volt...

those links are to 40 and 15 amp power supplies...

I don't know how little the amp is but I doubt it only needs 40 amps...

when i was a kid,(16-17) my car got smashed, so i took my system out, and on a tricle charger(9 amp)all the time to keep it charged. worked for a week, but like its been said, do not do this over time, use a yellow top or such, or better yet, just buy a plate amp ,and be done with it. my maw 15" is going into ht duty when i am tired of it and want to buy another sub. should be nice off around 400rms in my living room wall(hidden)
