I pulled this off of a prototype which might explain why it has TC7 steel on 1" TC9 slugs. Regardless, it's nice and strong, and would be perfect for anyone looking to build a low inductance/low distortion driver. The Qes figure for the driver was .423, the BL figure was 18.7 (Re of 3.12), and with the full compliment of copper (ring and sleeve) the Le was sitting at .62mH rather than the usual 3 to 7 mH seen in TC9 motors without this kind of treatment. The coil helping to generate those figures was a 3" four layer aluminum round wire with a WW of 2.25". You can use a slightly longer coil if you want, there's plenty of room for a 3" stroke with this motor. Power handling should be right on par with any other TC9, with consideration given for your choice of coil. Inside diameter is 2 7/8" and outside diameter is 3 3/8".
