Used t2 or new Type r?

Ok My buddies got a RF t2 12'' he said hell sell to me for $400 with a box. Should I jump on that or wait to get 1 12'' type r?

My T2 wasnt anything special and you can buy a t2 for 400$ but you cant buy a type r?

you can get a new type r for like 200 bucks why not two?

What amp will you be using? For $400 you could get a few type r's.

Yea you should be able to get type r 12's for around $125.

I know, but i only want 1 sub. I want it to hit hard enough to be able to hear me coming lol. I have a 400rms mono amp(kicker). The reason i only want 1 is becase i play hockey and im a goalie so i need a lotta room for my equipment. I just thought the t2 was much much better than a type r

you can buy used type r's for 80 and new ones for 100. Plus, they can handle 1000 rms daily with a clean signal.

I would probably look into a different sub if you only have 400 watts to use.

I'd say the type r. I got 4 of em for $390 all together and they do pretty good scores and sound really good IMO

Yea those t2's are rated at 1000 rms. I would definitely look into a different sub with 400 watts. The type r would do better off the 400 than the t2 would.

Im getting a new amp soon though so i want to be able to have room for a new amp. Thats why i would want the t2... for the expanding room/

Get a hold of "team h & k" (I think that's his name) on this forum and buy a 12'' Re Audio Se from him. Get a nice ported box built for you and you'll be happy.
