Used / Ebay Safe Items?

I was curious to see what you guys opinons were on which parts were o.k. to buy used or off Ebay...i got my deck off ebay and i wasnt worried about anything going wrong with it. However, im a bit shaky about buying an amp/driver second hand. What possibly can go wrong with either that would need them to be under warranty to be fixed free of charge? Im still debating whether buying my Shiva and amp off Ebay would be a good idea...no, i havent picked out an amp yet. possibly the MA Audio M1889i...

i bought lots of stuff off ebay just make sure its not an AS IS item that usually means its broke ...look for someone with good feedback and they say the item works good.

but all the sellers on ebay who have the as is item have a good feedback and they all have stores and have warrantys too??? so r u saying not to buy from one of those sellers or the privite seller

Seriously "as is" Means No warentee

If it dont work were not responsible

Message them and ask if they warentee it or if its as is

Usualy they put it in for used items then forget to take it out of there policy thing

I sell all my stuff as is, and have never had a problem with anyone buying my stuff on ebay. You just have to look at everything, pics, feedback, description...

i buy alot of my stuff on ebay. just depends on their feedback, the pictures, what they say about the product, and so on. when i see someone say "this has been in my closet for 3 months, it worked great when i stopped using it, but it will be sold as is."......no thanks. when they word it funny like that its safe to say something is wrong.
