so i have a hifonics crossover... and i have 2 amps... how do i hook it up ( as in set the frequencys) like do i just go to the amp and turn it all all the way up since ill be manipulating it from the crossover... or just dont use the crossover at all?

Never turn an amp "all the way up". You have to find where it starts to clip then thats you 100% gain you also need to find out where the crossover starts to clip at.. Thats why I use a clarion EQ much easier to use.

If its a hi pass then turn it all the way down, if its a lo pass then turn it all the way up...if the crossovers on the amp are flexible enough to meet your requirements then don't use the crossover at all.
