Use fuse rating when comparing amps

The higher the fuse rating the better the amp when comparing A/B amplifiers.
The rest is nothing but BS.
THAT is a bonehead generalization that deserves the flamage it's getting.

My point is when comparing amp SPECS all you have to go by is fuse rating. When was the last time you saw an amp specification that listed effeciency.
I am not saying that an amp with a higher fuse rating is always better just that when you are looking at specs it is the best indication of power rating.
That holds a little bit of water if the only amps you EVER shop for are Pyramid's and Cuspid's.

Even with pyramids though -- if you look at the manuals online they do provide decent power ratings. Certainly better than approximating using fuse size.

~~switches out 30amp fuses to 100amp fuse for comps~~

^^gives out more power btw.......

p.s. some guy on thirdgen.org was saying how he took out the fuses on his memphis 1100d and replaced it with a piece of 10ga wire.....said it made him available to more classes at comps.........
