Got experience with the AX3200. Sick a$$ amp. There's not too many US A,ps I haven't tried.

My old one ran at .5 with no problems. That was before I got my DD 15's.

SQ is a tad bit better in the ol skool 2000's, but that 3200 was a straight powerhouse.

I do kinda miss it.

Would like to play with a Sundown 3000D.

in my opinion the saz 3000d should have been named saz2500d

the saz3000d doest even do rated power how is it proven? its over rated....itll do 3000 but clipped it only did 2700 unclipped in my test and that was nominal.....

Proven by 100s of SPL competitors perhaps ?

no offensejacob but in spl your not useing a clean signal..... im talking clean unclipped wave form, that will not damage subs, at 14V the sundown 3000d does not impress me, the 1500d does....

Dammit... I was looking for a Class D amp to give me a solid 1,200 or so RMS watts @ 2 ohms.....

I guess the Sundown 3000 is OUT....

Looks like the MMATS d1600.2 is looking better than purchasing an oversized 1 ohm capable Class D and running it at a lower impedance.

Don't worry about teh Sundown, 06 is full of shit, the 3000D has been tested by many people and he is the only one making that claim.
