US Amps AX3200DE vs Sundown 3000D

The 3000D is proven but I dont hear a whole lot about the 3200DE, any ideas on how they compare? Like actual output and efficiency?

the saz3000d doest even do rated power how is it proven? its over rated....itll do 3000 but clipped it only did 2700 unclipped in my test and that was nominal.....

the 1500 and the 100.2 and 100.4 are the only good amps from sundown

Hmm, I used to have a 3kD, it was pretty good. I wish I didnt have to sell it. How did you test it?

At what ohm load and what voltage? How many batteries? Did you have a high output alternator? What was the signal voltage from the head-unit?

withj and oscope and and a fluke, plus a second inductive pickup fluke, in a car with asuffcient electrical ( 260 amp alt and 2 2400's) it only did 2700 before clipping no load....

same as you would with a loand except without a load that is called nominal power....

dont gent me wrong price per watt the sundown is well worth the monies, but that is why youl ever see anyone claim it to do 3000 watts clean unclipped, because it doesnt the 1500d on the other hand does a little over rated power it does about 1800 unclipped , it strapped will defeinetly out shine a 3000d

the 3200 is a well built amp..

Have you tried testing it under a load? I couldnt see the 3000D being overrated, i had mine running on a 12v setup for a long time and I recently upgraded to a 16v.. I would be interested in hearing more tests on the amp though, soon enough i'll pick up a fluke meter and do some testing of my own.
