Hi there, I have 2 alpine amps, one is a 600 rms mono amp and the other one is a 75x4 rms four channel amp.

Now my question is, both amps have a 4 gauge wiring feeding the power, but also both have an 8gauge wiring for the ground. Should I atleast upgrade the groung on the alpine 600rms mono amp to a 4gauge or is it ok to stay with the 8gauge?

THX in advance

Since the ground wire length is so short, I doubt it would matter, especially given the current capabilities of the amp. That being said, it certainly won't hurt to upgrade to 4 gauge since its so cheap.

That seems really strange that the power and ground terminals are different sizes. Are you sure? Seems like alpine wouldnt mess up that bad.
Yes.. your power and ground cables need to be the same size.

The amps have the same size terminals for the power and ground, I myself did the diferent size wirings just because the colors I had in stock wher from diferent sizes..

I had 4 gauge Blue and 8 gauge red, and just for looks decided to use both, the 4 gauge un power and the 8 gauge in groung, now that Im thinking twice about what I did, Im starting to think I should use the couple of feet I have left from the blue 4 gauge wire and put it on the ground also.

Would the 4x75 rms alpine amp benefit from a 4 gauge power and 4 gauge ground or should I just leave it like that?

The 600rms mono amp from alpine Does benefit fromg 4 gauge power and ground?
