So i decide to buy some new door speakers.. after doing some research and past success with alpines, i went with them again. SPS-600 for the rears and SPX-17REF for the fronts (both powered by hifonics HFI100.4). rears sounds awesome! got the exact sound i want for like $60! now the fronts... i couldn't get the clear sound i wanted.. sounded really muffled. after a week of messing with it, i decided not to use the cross over. sounded loud and clear without the crossover. then i find out both of the tweets didn't work. so im pretty upset.. spent $180 on the fronts.. which i don't even use the cross over.. tweets dont work.. spent like 1/3 of the price for the rears and it sounds great. pretty frustrating!!! PS. i might just buy another set of sps-600 for the fronts!
