Upgraded alternator vs. battery vs. capacitor?

I don't really understand why it's such a money pit, do you guys compete with your gear or something? The way I see it after I get these 2 subs my car will sound around as good as it can. Maybe i'm entirely wrong though lol. I'm sure cabin space has to do with it as well, bigger vehicles have a lot more you can work with and need to work with.

Could either of you give me an easy explanation of the differences between deep cycle, dry cell, and power cell batteries? I see these 3 terms everywhere I go Lol

dood once you get used to it you will keep upgrading...thats why i dont play my stuff full tilt alot. it hurts my ears and once i get used to it and it cant tickle my ear i need more......thats why its known as an addiction

Thats something u need to hit google up about the differences are vast and will take to long to type them out. In car audio what really matters is that you get a dry cell batt. Wet cells = bad idea... There are even different types of dry cell batts thats why I say use google and read the whole story

deep cycles are made to give power over a long period and be pretty much dead and recharged. dry cell is agm pretty much and a wet cell is the ones you gotta fill with water that is the worst for car audio. best i can do without writing a book about it

Okay I see, thanks guys.

Also I didn't even consider this until now, are most batteries the same size? Do I need to be taking note of battery dimensions or do they all fit the same size?

deminsions are all different bro. its like ***** size

One quick question as I go out and buy a multimeter, when you put its pos and neg on the battery and play music, is the voltage reading the amount that the battery is receiving, or what it is sending to the amplifier?
