Updating System

My brother is thinking about updating his system that has been running 31/2 yrs strong. Right now he has 2 12 kappa perfects, almost since they came out. He has the infinity beta 300 amp on it. He likes how it is but is looking for more spl without sacrificing too much sq. I told him about the Brahmas and I think that would be a good match, since the amp is 1000x1 @ 4 ohms. He was then thinking of putting two 12's of those in a sealed box probably about 1.25-1.5 ft^3. This would all be going in a little 89 z24, so yes space is an issue. Do you think this would hit hard in the cavalier. Right now he probably has one of the best systems in the town, everyone's system here sucks ***. But he wants a system that will help him win some comps around here. thanks for any input you may have.....sorry for the long post
