When you turn the sub output off it kill the sub correct? If not you prolly pluged in the RCAs to the wrong output on your HU.

Fairly good news. Reset the gains on the amp with +6 on sub, and +2 on Lows.

MAJOR IMPROVEMENT. I'm starting to get a little flex on the roof, and you can feel the air when you open the door just burst out at you.

It owned on Hypnotize intro, and the Thug Motivation 101 intro.

Still really lacked on the lower notes on Late Night Tip.

The excursion on the sub has just about doubled.

Great to hear, try turning up the bass on the HU now. Maybe lower your SSF a bit, lift the HPF. All those should help.

What are your current settings on the amp?

The Sub Bass is maxed on the head unit, it's where I tuned it.

Are you saying to turn up the Low on the EQ?

HPF is set at 80 I believe.

Gains set to 36 volts @ 60 hz 0 db.

SSF is where my problem was before. I could never get the voltage I wanted.

With 36 volts, the SSF should be at 25.5 @ 23 hz (assuming my enclosure is tuned to about 30-31.)

I can only get about 23 volts on the SSF with it on the lowest it would go.

Dont worry about voltage output at that low of a frequency.

Just set the gain at 60 hz, and turn down the SSF to about 25hz or less.

Just play a song with lots of lows and make sure the sub doesnt bottom on the lows. If it does then turn up the SSF a little.

Yes it is.

Just from previous videos, shouldn't the subs excursion increase as it goes down on lower tones?...

It seems like the complete opposite for me.. The excursion on Hypnotize, on the first few notes of the bass line seem to have more excursion than Soul Survivor or Late Night Tip..

Yes you will get more excursion on lower notes.

Sounds like your SSF is turned to high. Or you have some sort of EQ on the deck thats cutting out the low frequency.

Yes, you should reach more excursion the lower the note is...if not, the first thing i think of is your SSF....but i havent read all the posts in here to see if that's been mentioned. Did you figure out what exactly your box is tuned to? If it is 38, that's probably why.

You started off better than i did, my first system was 2 RF punch z's off a rf 301m..lol

How is the excursion compared to this? With this much flex I get some great output. My sunroof shakes like hell.

Well I know late night tip the last note is like 31 hz, so if the box is tuned to that Isee why no excursion at tuning.

And there is no reason to "bring it back to the place to fix tuning"

Two 4 inch aeros 18 inches each equals about 30 hz tuning.
