Unexplained Speaker Whine

So I just got my Alpine PDX 600.1 Amplifier and installed it. Since I only have two pairs of preouts on my headunit I dedicated one for my front components and the other straight to the sub amp and tried daisy chaining from the sub amp to 4 channel amp rear RCAs. Somehow my front speakers start to have a medium-high pitch thumping from both the tweeter but the rear speakers aren't affected? Why are my FRONT speakers getting the noise and not the rear speakers and how do I fix this? The problem was solved when I unplugged the RCA from the rear side, so that is definitely the cause.

RCA ground issue, mystery explained.

How would I go about grounding my RCAs? Would I ground at the headunit or elsewhere?

doesn't make a difference where you ground RCAs

Does the amp have a 4ch..2 ch.switch?

Grounding the head unit seems to have fixed the problem, thanks for the help guys.
