Understanding a few h.u. settings

If someone could take a look at the picture from my manual and guide me to the proper settings on these two functions. And why period would be greatly appreciated

Start off by setting it to 80 hz. Set the output to the highest setting, then set your gain from there. See how it sounds.

set lowpass to 80-100hz, but if u have it on hu turn it off on amp.. if it has hp for other speakers set that at 100 and u can go up if u need to (my fronts at 120 rear at 150) my amp doesnt have a off on the lp over i wish it did i'd like to use lp on hu., so again if u have hp set on a amp turn it off if using one on hu... set everything with hu at about 80% volume, if u run a hu that goes to 35 at 35 u will clip something so i don't go past 28 sometimes 29..

Ok. I believe my head unit goes to 62. Yes the head unit has high pass filter as well. Thanks guys

k so try to keep it below 50 should prevent most clipping if u adjusted amp gains down to 25%, and u dont use bass boost or pre set eq and have sub volume on 0., once u get it set up right u can adjust 1 thing at a time and try different lp,hp settings and hu sub volume i adjust that up when i play rock and back down when playing re bassed type songs
