Hello all. I am trying to set up a skar 1000 watt 4 channel amp to properly run 8 Fusion XS Series 6.5’s speakers. Been using the system as is but im experiencing clipping. No idea how to properly set this. And almost impossible to get anyone to come to my boat to look at it. Ive attached a pic of the amp settings as well as the specs of the speakers. Anyway im hoping someone can help. Thanks in advance. Jt

#1. Did you obtain the specifications of your source unit and determine the voltage output? Set the gain on your amplifier to match. That should be a good starting point. My amplifiers all came with voltage markings for the gain knobs, which made it easy for me to estimate the gain settings. Some of the experts on this site will be able to assist you better.
