Ultimate speaker?

To your knowledge what's makes a great speaker?

Sub, mid, tweeter?

I also loved output but now that I'm older I love a well balanced system with the proper time alignment having the sounstage perfect even down to the point to where if my favorite songs aren't at least 320kbps I won't listen to it.

But I have a real problem now.. Sometimes I want it loud I mean sound excellent but knock you out loud..

So to me a driver that is well balance(sounds natural etc..) can take a beating and can get extremely loud makes a great driver..

Not many drivers and amps on the market Offer this..

I've been pondering the idea of making a specific line of comps subs and amps that would fit the bill..

Anyway I just want to know what you think is the ultimate speaker and why..

I've been building systems for about 12 years now..

I am aware of the nature of the field..

I just wanted opinions and preferences to see what others like/ want to accomplish..

def all personal preference.... love my pioneer ts d1720c's! friend of mine with alpine type s comps think they blow mine away...i think he's an idiot.....but in the end, only thing that matters is whether or not you like the way your car sounds. Youre the one driving it.
