uconnect5 has an error

My uconnect5 has an error- I assume it is because I ran speaker level into a new amp and now it does not "see" the speakers. Is there any issue adding a resistor to the speaker out of the uconnect?. Will that effect the Speaker level IN on the amp?

I use these and they work great. I splice them right before the LOC. One leg on the negative the other on the positive.
