Type X (work in time?)

How much "work in time" should I give my 1 12" Type X sub? It's powered by a JL 1000/1 amp.

You really dont need a 'break in period'.

None...It will break-in with normal play

2 hours if u believe the myth, but just plug and play if not.

plug it into a wall socket for about 30 seconds to warm it up and you should be all set from there.

if you don't decide to do that just play it regularly from the start.

When I bought it, the guy told me to give it at least 30 hours of "break in time". Wow, pretty big difference...

i gave mine about 4 hours.....was like a week...so maybe 7 hours

me and my brother just did 1-2 weeks of break in time

I tried to be patient and break my 15" XXX in but I just couldnt take it and had to blast it, didnt hurt one bit. If your paranoid just wait maybe a week, but I think you will be fine.

I love that smell.

It last a couple weeks. Then sometimes you'll catch a whiff after you're really wangin' hard.
