Finally got my Mag

I'm installing my Stereo Integrity Mag i got today and i need some help with the amp settings. Its the 12" in a 1.5 sealed box on a audiobahn 1500hct...i know i need a new amp but i'm getting one later. its rated at 500watts at 4 ohms.

So i would need to do

Sqrt(500x4)=44.7 right?

Also not sure about the other setting on the amp itself. These are what i have.

Bass Boost

-Freq 40-100hz

-Gain 0-18db

LPF Freq 40-120hz

Subsonic 20-50hz ON/OFF

Gain 8-0.2v

About the only one i know what to do is leave the subsonic off because i have a sealed box right? And the Gain 8-.2 is what i use for the 44.7 right? I have a shitty Multimeter too so i think i might have to go by another one but i want to at least try with the one i have. But what do i do with all of the other settings? I also have a lpf and hpf on my Head unit. what should i set those to?

On a serious note. 44.7 volts is 500 watts.

PLEASE, do not use the bass boost.

If your headunit has crossovers use those instead of the one on the amp.

you won't need the subsonic in that box... IMO

ok thats what i thought. and ya bassboost is a bad idea i know. so should i set all the other ones all the way down?

It's horibble, it adds distortion, and can fuk shit up.

Hey NG the amp is rated at 2000 watts at 1 ohm. But since the amp probably can't do a full 2000 i wouldnt know what i'd actually be giving it i dont have an 0-scope. And i wont have any vids for a month...I'm leaving for Europe on Monday but ill post up some pics in a min for you guys.

Figured i'd try it at 4 ohms with the amp i have for about 500watts...somewhere around there it is an audiobahn after all haha 1 ohm is 2000watts and figured i'd try it out first. i want to get a better amp when i come back from europe and got some money.
