Type R's or L7's???

I am trying to pick between 2 15 L7's or 2 15 alpine type R's..heard good things about both..they going in back of a 2007 yukon denali..

I have Type Rs, my friend has a L7, and his is def louder but mine are night and day cleaner. For daily Id go with the type R anyday but for pure loudness, l7. Actually i take that back, he has 1000w going to a 12" and I have 200w going to my type R..so I really cant say whether his is def louder becuz mine are tuned down so much.

The R's will be louder in most setups.

not sure on the specs of the R's but the l7's you can give them 2k-2500rms daily also i know some people dont believe it but they have more cone area as well.

2k rms??? I'd like to see that... maybe on just a burp....

But everyone knows that square subwoofers have a lil more cone area than round subwoofers...

A bunch of bad information in here....

I have tested the L7's vs. the R's and the R's were always louder in a setup that peaked below 50 hz. I gained .5 dB from switching from a L7 to a R.

I like the L7's but thats just me. They really shine in a ported/vented box. I had 2 12's getting 750rms each and I hit 150.3db

I have just one 15L7 and it's plenty for me. Right now I have a Sundown SAE1000D running it.

type r's if its just for daily would, i think, be better. l7's if you just want to be loud as hell, but they like to be tuned high, its really what they are made for.
