Type-Rs not playing

OK this problem is starting to happen again. Something is going wrong as when I play my subs sometime they will stop playing and cut back on maybe 3-5 seconds later. Sometimes this would happen when I wouldnt even be playing my music loud. I wouldnt have any voltage drops and the subs wouldnt even be playing really loud but they both stop playing. The amp isnt turning off either or going into protect they just stop playing for a second. Subs arent even warm when I touch the dust caps and I dont think im clipping them because they arent hot and they sound great when Im playing them no slapping or no crackling in the bass just good deep sounds....

ya idk bud, theres a few things that could be wrong with the wiring? best thing to do would at least be to check your wiring my friend. sometimes ill check stuff with total disbelief as to why im having a problem then when i get to it, this happens "oh look what we have here, this little pooper got disconnected by some feet, better plug that back in"

ya the amp has scew terminals and I can tug on the wire and it wont come out. I can also tug on the wire on the connectors at the box and it wont come out either. Inside the box should be fine because the type rs have push terminals and I pushed the wire in as far as they would go....Some days the subs will play all day no problem and then other days they want to cut off...

I am going to say its a signal issue.

I would start by swapping in another RCA cable, making sure you dont run the cable anywhere where it may be pinched or damaged.

If the problem doesnt go away, the terminals on the HU or amp may be damaged. try jiggling the rca connectors on the amp and see if that effects anything.

Hmm well the amp is new...just bought it last week...the RCA cables are also new as I bought those about 3 months ago and they are very good quality. This sub cutting out problem I had with my old GS Designs amp also and now Im running a Sundown...when I had the GS hooked up when I first bought it I didnt have extra RCAs running from the back of the HU so I used the line out on my speaker amp and plugged it into the line in on the GS Designs...I still had the problem then. Now Ive ran RCAs from the HU and still get the problem...

I'm not sure why you are asking the forum for help then. Its obviously something with the headunit or the substage //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/rolleyes.gif.c1fef805e9d1464d377451cd5bc18bfb.gif

Looks connection somewhere for sure. Might even be a snag/cut in the rca, or something turning off the subs.

Did you check the wiring inside the box and at all terminals?
