Type-r's keep blowing!

I used to play bass testers as loud as I could, especially things with like 20Hz on them like bass I love you, so i'm sure thats what contributed.. Now when I look at the new enclosure, the old sub is moving out of synch with the new one, and still slapping.. time for a new R i guess.. My multimeter is a POS, so i'm gonna go get a nice digital one and set the gains correctly. Btw, what does SSF stand for, haven't heard it before?

Subsonic filter...fancy name for a HPF designed to keep the driver from reaching its mechanical limits from material below tuning. But a "bandpass" enclosure, true to its name, attenuates both the upper and lower limits of its passband.

Everyone I've seen 500-1500watts with their bass on the HU set to neg 3(with almost no difference if u turned it up) and was still pounding unbelievabley hard has some serious gain problems and most of them didnt want to listen, or even let me help them. Many of these people have also went through several sets of subs... hmmmm?
