Type R's in near future. Hifonics or Alpine Amps?

Hey all. Time to replace my measly little Type-E. Im planning to get some Alpine Type-R's here in the near near future. 99.9% likely they will be dual 4-ohm 12" subs. I've been looking around at amps and have come up with the following:

Alpine MRD-M605 (600wrms @ 2ohm)

Alpine MRD-M1005 (1000wrm @ 2ohm)

Hifonics BXI-1206D (900wrms @ 2ohm)

Hifonics BXI-1605D (1100wrm @ 2ohm)

Price isnt that much of a concern. Im planning on running each sub on its own amp. I keep hearing these Type-R's, although rated at 500wrms actually can take a lot more power. Which of the above amps do you all reccomend? Any info would be great!

Are you planning on running two separate amps? If not, and they are dual 4's, why post the 2 ohm rating? Your buying 2 correct? Look for 1 ohm stable amps.

ahh im confused now lol. yes getting TWO alpine type-R dual 4 ohm and each sub gets their own amp. So i want to find a 1 ohm stable amp for each t hen? i thought i needed 2 ohm amps :-/

dual 4 subs by themselves can only run at 2 ohms. both subs wired together is 1 ohm. i suggest getting 1 amp to run both.

Yeah i keep hearing a lot of people say that. In that case, i'll be saving myself $250 bucks, maybe i should go two 15" //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/goodorbad.gif.fe1f80382c74d93547176ee10a15b645.gif

Thats a little out of my price range. So now im down to two choices that i see i only need 1ohm stable.

1) Two 12" Type-R running on a Hifonics BXI-1606D

OR, now seeing im saving $250 bucks because i thought i needed a second amp:

2) Two 15" Type-R on a Hifonics BXI-2006D.

Im liking the 15's because they are higher power for the same price (that i originally thought i had to spend), but will a Hifonics BXI-2006D (2000w @ 1ohm) be enough to power both 15" Type-R's? Dual 4 ohm subs, of course.

if u buy those 2 r and the 1606 u probally wont be happy... i would get 1 15 and 2006 if i must have hifonics and alpine woofer

Amps arent a must on hifonics, but i've just heard good things about them paired with Type-R's. im pretty set on Type-R's is the thing, but idont wanna buy the subs and not have an amp strong enough to push them.

So two 12's and the 2006 would be stronger than the two 15's with the 2006? the 15's are 750wRMS each, and the 2006 is pushing 2000wRMS @1 ohm.

nah 2 15s will be louder than 2 12s but i thought u had a budget or some sort... u gotta remember that 2006 isnt quite 2k @ 1ohm i just think the 12s will be a better match for that amp
