So i am going to be beginning a project for an enclosure for my 10" Type R with my Grandpa, who is an expert with wood (40+ years experience). Anyways, i want to make a custom enclosure that will accept my rear strut bar in my car as well, like an indent on the top or something, also a custom mitsubishi cutout emblem on the top of the box and paint it glossy red and the box black. question is, i want to go ported what freq and size of box should i make for this 10" Type R.. I need suggestions! im feeding it about 750 RMS.

your box wont hit your strut bar unless its designed to lol that bar behind the seats is exactly under the strut take a look at it again. i had the same thoughts until i really looked at it.

I am purchasing an aftermarket rear strut bar to connect the two rear struts. I believe the box will interfer. What should i tune my box to for that R?

36 to 38 would be nice. I have never used any Type R's before, but I have never heard a box tuned between 360 to 38 that I did not like

they might handle 36 or 38 put they usually don't like to be tuned lower than 40. the lower you tune them the quicker they seem to heat up.
