Type R Subs

I have a 97' Caddy Deville. Im looking at changing my Type R 12's to 15's instead. Does anyone know if i can actually fit six (6) Type R 15" in my caddy and if so, does it have to be sealed or ported? I'll be running three (3) Hifonics Gen XX Colossus amps, not sure which size cap i need yet. But definitely need to know if the subs will fit first.

Thanks any and everyone.

thanks again. so would a system of this type not need a cap or would a cap not make a difference? also already have a optima battery. do i also need a separate battery or batteries?

dont try to squeeze 6 in.. its a waste of space and money. you will be choking off so much of your trunk and there will be so much cancellation its pointless.

whatever you do, go ported. get a couple fi BTL 15s and port them with a colossus on each.

i could definately get two ported btl 15s louder than 6 sealed r 15s

youll need a new alternator. a spare battery in the trunk might also need to be done. 1/0 on all the alt. connections.

a cap will do almost nothing for this type of system, unless its fairly large, and even then it would only be good to smooth out very short, more drastic voltage drops. (strong kick drum or something of that sort)
