i tried..and after page 10 of nothing but bs i stopped reading it...im just asking what would be the best amp *for the money* and safest on the setup i want to run...

im looking at the alpine v12 mrd-m605 600w rms amp? on the single 12 in a 2 cube box @ 34

eh? i should be able to sell my current setup locally and get the amp/sub off ebay, and build the box...and break even..that would be the goal!

to get the type r to get loud you would want about 900 rms

would i need to upgrade my wiring? i only have 8gauge pwr wire and a 30amp fuse right now..or would upgrading the fuse work for 900ish watts?

900ish watts. you're gonna need bigger wires. and a higher amp fuse.

100 or 110 amp fuse and at least 4 gauge
