Type R in small ported?

Hey guys, anyone heard or have a pair of Rs in a small ported box? Say 1.5-1.7^3 for each 12"....

I would really hate to seal them, but I want to keep trunk space. Box would probably be 32x15x15, (maybe a little bit bigger) (then 2 4"pvc ports that's 7.5" long each)

I ran two older alpine 12's in a small sealed box and i wasn't impressed. I was only running 350 watts to each though.

Yep....i ran 2 12 Rs in a 3.5cu box @ 35hz......i now have 4 in a 1.5cu per box....both did well

i used to have my 2 12's in a box that was 2.5 cubes at 40 something hertz and it wasn't impressive, it was also prefab, maybe 1.5-1.7 cubes will be better...
