I have two type R 12's 2ohm

Running them with the Apline V-power Mrp-m1000

When i bought these guys they came in a sealed enclosure(Not gonna work)

Gonna have a ported enclosure made

ive been told 32Hz is what i should have the port tuned to

Are there any other Hz that could work better or is this good?

I'm working on the same thing. I have a LS400 with the gas tank/firewall between the trunk and rear seat. So, I'm going to port into the cabin via. rear deck. These are the numbers I came up with.

Conversions:

vent or port diameter (dv) = 5 inch = 12.7 centimeter

number of ports or vents (Np) = 1 = 1

enclosure box volume (Vb) = 2.6 foot^3 = 73.6238011392 liter

port or vent length (Lv) = 18 inch = 45.72 centimeter

end correction factor (k) = 0.04837306723224 = 0.04837306723224

Solution:

tuning frequency (fb) = 33.377500089617 hertz

Mind you I'm working on a 4th order bandpass.
