3 10'' RE SE's or my single 15'' SSX

Ive gotten offered 3 RE SE 10''s for my Treo SSX 15''. I know the 10s have more cone area, but can all three take 2400w daily? I dont plan on changing my amp and I run it at 2400 @ 1 ohm daily. I know the RE SEs arent all out SPL machines, but will it be louder than my Treo? Its going in my single cab truck if that makes a difference. I will have to get a new box made obviously too, so how much space will 3 RE SE 10s ported need?

I read that the SEs are rated for 600w, are they underrated?

def. keep the SSX.. should have the ability to get just as loud, if not louder..and leaves the option open to add a 2nd one which would be a really solid setup

Thats what I was thinking, just need a new box. Not sure id have enough room for 2 15s in my truck though

As long as you use some common sense, the SEs will take that 800w each fine, its people that have fed them 1000w each, just all boils down to if you know what your doing.

yea but that SSX will take 4x+ that amount of power... plus those ssx's have put up some pretty good numbers on the mic... can't say the same about 3x 10" se's

I have 3 SE 12's and was doing a 145db legal with 1500wrms. Not sure what i'm at with 2500wrms but they get pretty loud and sound good. I've never heard the Treo's before but have heard good things about them.
