welcome to my world. Reading here is no help. Speakers are subjective. What sounds like *** to 10 ppl can sound like a dream to you.

I was going to get the Diamond D661s's Then I said i'd get the Hex series instead(more money) Then I read up on how they lack midbass so now im back to square one.

I think JL Comps are ugly Same with most MB Quart i've seen. Astheics shouldn't matter but they do to me, I feel like i'd break half the speakers ive seen.

Rainbow. I dont like that I can only go through one source for them. Then theres the fact that I cant buy them with my credit card. I'd like to pay monthly on the card instead of use all my money at once. I also don't like the way they look. The Germ's are alot nicer, but im unwilling to spend $400+

Diamond - I don't like how the crossovers look. Everything i hear is always a mixed review. Either they're awesome or they lack midbass.

Too many **** choices. At first I wanted an infinity system. And hearing it in a store they sounded good. Problem is I want silk tweets as metal ones kill me.

I was heavily considering Polk momo. But my choice got fuzzy when i heard them at a store. Sure it was a wall setup that was tuned wrong and probably wasen't getting good power but the Polk DB(Cheaper) Right below it sounded alot better. And the infinity Kappa sounded better than both.

Focal. Again paper cone type look that I just don't like. Least the ones in my price range(200-300) I know its really a woven fiber cone. But the tweeters are metallic.

Alpine - I like there SPX and Type-S/R looks. I'm thinking of dual Type-S subs for my car. Tweeter on the SPX/TypeX Says soft dome. Not silk. Paper looking cone but I like the way the speakers and crossovers look themselves.

Audiobahn - Love their designs. Always hear them as just being "OK"

Sony - It's sony sound products. I wont touch it.

Bose - Overpriced

Boston Acoustics - I've had boston acoustics speakers before. I liked them alot. Never heard them in the car audio arena.

Infinity - Always heard good things. Always heard the low end was lacking and that you NEEDED subs. Also always heard they're overly bright. I've always thought they looked great though.

CDT - Every speaker i've seen looks like someone took a generic speaker and painted it with fingerpaint.

I just don't know

what woud be a good choice for 6x9's?
going by what 90% of the forum here says. None as everyone is opposed to rear fill.

I on the otherhand LIKE rearfill. I dont care about proper frontstage and all that.

I'd say pick a price range and just pick a 6x9 in that pricerange.

Whatever components i get. Thatll be the same brand i get the 6x9's from.

What is the only one source? Why cant you use a credit card?

Form should always Follow function my friend. Speakers are for your ears, not your eyes.
