anywho the type r's are alright but for about the same money you can get some rainbow slc's which are MUCH better speakers. the tweets are very very very harsh if its the comp set. go with the rainbows

is there a big difference between focal and diamond? prolly gonna go with focal but i want to find out some more about them.

the lower focals have harsh *** tweets *** well and muddy mid-bass....heres a link to the rainbows

also i have heard the midbass on the diamonds(lower models...d9's sound pretty good) is weak as well...never heard them though so ???

yeah the type are has punchy bass but tends to be a bith muffled
