Type R box...sorry

sealed for the Type R's i swear....if u want it to pound and hit every note you want a small sealed box.....mine is 1.75 cubes for each sub and it hits pretty **** good....it sounds better than my friends ported one....but im still thinking about building a 4 cube ported box at 32 Hz

my type r is in a 2.25 @32 550 watts and it dont beat hard at all really

there's something else wrong, try reversing your phasing

people on here say i can get what iam looking for if i go ported? what would be the best ported size box for what i listen to ? i laso want it to get low. also they are the newer type r's

i know i have them to every shop around here asks what type of music do u listen to then they show you a sub and then a box and they always go to sealed.....but since you want ported i would prolly do 4 cubes @ 30-32Hz it will give you the lows and the SQ....i am going to make a ported box soon in that range so if you do it lemme know how it sounds

I don't like them ported. Mine has been tuned to like 30 before and it hit all the notes. It was crazy on soul survivor.

I just built my box for the new type-r with 2.1ft^3@29hz and it sounds pretty good for lows and sounds pretty good for rock/alternative. I would suggest going with 4.2-4.5ft^3@29-30hz. It will sound good.

Guys im curious as to whats the best cube to run a type r at?

Specifically a 15" Type R thats going to be tuned @ 32 Hz... people are throwing out all these random sizes but whats the best for that setup ? like 4 cubes or does it need more? I listen to mostly rap

yeah it pounds...i cant wait until i get my next car so i can build another box for them...this one will be alot better since the sealed box was my first box ever
