Type R and TCAB

well really nothing he just knows how to build a box

there really nothing to nothing speical to them noting in the inside of the but a lil resin and some pvc in the coner

Two things:
1. 300 dollars is ****ing nuts for an enclosure. It had better come with a free sack of Colombian grade cocaine that I can sell.

2. 150 decibels..people say that they want loud, but not many realize just how loud that is. You wouldn't listen to 150 dbs daily anyway (unless that is what you like to do), so why get more than what you want?
yeah i dont even know what 150 dbs is.. thats sad... i dont even know what my brahma put out..... no one near me has a meter

haha is it sad that i just kinda want the power to press the play/pause button to cause sombody immediate pain? haha if a 131 dbs did that 145+ would be insane... like blood gushing out of ears insane

that was just me maybe others like 131 but it was painful for me

Me personally I would never pay 300 for a box, mainly because that is half the fun in Car Audio, building your own enclosures. There is nothing like staying up all night keeping the neighbors up with a table saw and a router. but I cant deny marks boxes are loud....but does that mean that you cannot build a box just as loud, no. If you have a well laid out plan, and good skills with tools, you yourself can make a box for around 50 bucks that will get just as loud.

the dudes AIM is: TheCarAudioBox so you could just add him and talk to him to get info ... i have a 02 eclipse with 2 12" type r's and he said he could get up to 142-150dbs for $300 shipped
i dont believe that...u must have a decent electrical to do those kind of numbers and i'm not talking big3 and a stock alt either

you'd be surprised how easy 142 dB's is nowadays, even with a stock electrical system.

Efficient box+good subs+good amp=nice scores.

You also have to remember that these are MECA style numbers (in the kick)

80 wha do u kno //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif
i know what 150db's sound like

i know one of my se12's in my bandpass box got metered 2day and did a 139.4 at the kick on a tl mic with music with 600watts going to it

and when i get my other se12 up and running i should be in the low to mid 140's

and i havent tuned anything yet:up2somet:
