Type R 12" spl experience

Well right now im current running two memphis mojo 15's subs in about 9cuft tuned to 32 hz with 2 Lanzar Opti-2000d's. In my old box which was alittle higher tuned it would do about a 148.1 on the term lab dbdrag style and 146ish bass race. Im looking to get close to a 150 on music. Since my amps put out full power at .5 ohm I was thinking I could do 6 alpine Type R 12's, with the amps strapped at 1.4ohms. So each type R would get about 6-700 watts. Also i can probably do up to 11cuft ported if i use flared ports instead of slot ported. Or if these subs are all cut out to what ive heard maybe I could save money and do 4 of them in about 9cuft with the amps strapped at 1ohm so each subs would get about 1,000rms each. Anyways i just want to know what you guys have done with type R's as far as #'s go and I would like to know if 4-6 of them would outdue my MOJO 15's.

ive gotten one 12 to do 145's before if that makes you feel any better.

This a Diahatsu Rocky...basically a reallllly small suv thing with a hard top. 145 with one...hmmm maybe 6 will get loud. How much power and what type of box were you using??
