I have a 2001 bonneville and I want to replace the factory HU with an Alpine 9815 HU, what type of interface do I need so that none of the crap they run through the Factory HU will still work.

somebody has to know what I`m talking about! there has to be an installer here on this forum that has ran across this situation before.

Id suggest a Directed/Xpresskit DLPKGM or if you can find one, a GMDLBP. the latter of those 2 were bullet proof when they ran them.. you can still get them off ebay. I wouldn't suggest a CANMAX400 (in case you run across it) even tho they suggest one as I've seen more problems with these than any other bypass..
