two subs, divider?

I'm building a sealed box for two solobaric 8's. Is a divider nessessay?

Separate chambers is optimum for sealed. The only downside is a little more wood and work in construction.

true, but the divider also doubles as bracing, it is good.

No need for separate chambers, unless you're doing it for bracing.

Unless you're wanging really hard, that other sub isn't going to tear itself apart by being in a 2ft^3 box instead of 1ft^3...and the bad sub would act like a passive radiator anyways. Of course, I don't really run my equipment to the point of having to worry about it blowing for any reason, so I never use separate chambers for anything.
