8 MJ's. And yea the new MJ's are overall better drivers, 8 mj's sealed seeing 3 cubes and about 800 watts a piece would be nasty

Actually, the pressure is equal to 1 18 sealed, because the ratio of subs to volume should ideally be the same. What actually comes into play is the structural integrity of the enclosure. Since the sides of the box are going to be much larger, and support more weight, reinforcements should be implemented accordingly.

The new ones can take at least 800-900, I've had mine on 800 for almost a month I think now and it doesn't get warm very easily, haven't had it smell or anything

I think Mark told me I shouldn't try to go past 900
