Kind of depends. If you want it to still play music, I'd say probably a wall. If you didn't want a wall, you could run a ported enclosure.

personally i'd do the Solo X's, since you already have them
alot easier to work wiith than eight 18's

What this guy said. 8 drivers in a badass wall sounds good and all.....until your in your van installing 8 different subs. Just too much work when you already have a couple of great "groundpounder" subs in your possesion.

Cereally, those 2 18's should kill it for you

You could hit up 80Inches. He could come up with some type of design. IIRC, Pornstar's Nissan was running 2 18's in a 4th order.

I say solo x's. That way you could spend the extra cash on good reliable amps. The resale on solo x's is terrible.

I like loud systsems that are small...as compared to overkill

ok cool. i'm realy "on the fince" about this. i'm going to talk with my box builder tomorrow and see what he has to say. he runs a audio shop and has 4 btl 18's walled in his dodge truck. he has the loudest groundpounder in my area and i value his input.

and i still need more input from yall!! lol seems like yall going tit for tat between the two.

Cone area will have a huge advantage, and for a daily ground pounder thats not for competing the MJ's would be perfect. And they are cheap
