Two Set Up Options. Which would you do? What would you swap?

Hey all, looking for help on how to set up my system and right now I have two primary options for my Cadillac Fleetwood. I already own the Pioneer Headunit and Memphis Belle Amp so those two are constants. I'm open to changing everything else and my budget is approximately $1000 for Subs and Front Comps. I'd describe myself as 70/30 SQ/SPL.

Option 1

Head Unit: Pioneer AVH 6000D (double din, 6 dvd changer)

Amp: 1 Memphis Belle 1300 watt 5 channel (75x4 and 1100@1ohm or 683@2ohm)

Fronts: Focal 165KF 6.5 comps (80w rms)

Rear: Memphis PR 6x9 (60w rms)

Subwoofers: Four Memphis Mclass 12 inch running at 2ohms (200w rms each)

Option 2:

Head Unit: Pioneer AVH 6000D (double din, 6 dvd changer)

Amp: 1 Memphis Belle 1300 watt 5 channel (75x4 and 1100@1ohm or 683@2ohm)

Fronts: Image Dynamics 6.5 comp CXS64 (150w rms, Belle Amp Bridged)

Rear: None

Subwoofers: Two Image Dynamic IDQ12V3.D4 running at 1ohm (600w rms each)

Will 6.5s adequately fill the entire cabin of a cadillac in option 2? The front speakers are mounted on the bottom of the door panel towards the front of the car. Any other configuration opinions?

I love SQ in mid/high range but there are times when I just want to move the ground with the bass. The Mclass subs are supposed to be Memphis's best SQ subs and I didnt think their SQ would suffer by using 4 of them so I can pump up the bass when I feel like it. I thought the 4 Mclasses running at 2ohms might be the "best of both worlds" option. Only issue with it was that running it at 2ohms would underpower the subs with 683 watts trying to power 800 watts worth of subs. Error on my part?

two, not a fan of rear fill. And do you want SQ or SPL? Seems like those two options negate each other a bit
Sorry to sound stupid but does rear fill just mean rear door speakers? So what you are saying is if you have good enough componets up front you wont need rear speakers? I ask cause if thats the case then I will just buy great components.

that's basically what i'm saying. Some people like rear fills, i just don't care for them. Especially since they're not needed IMO. Unless you want to impress the people who sits in the back also

As I understand it yes Rear door speakers. In my case they are actually not in the door but on the rear deck/shelf. A lot of people on this forum seem to not like the rear speakers. I've had 5.25s and struggled to fill my old Deville with sound. The rear seats sounded a little hallow. 95% of the time noone is sitting there though...

Rear fill is definately not needed, however, some people do like to be "surrounded" by the sound. The IDQ's have decent output as well and will sound much better than the Mclasses.

Number 2 as you want quality

On a lighter note, with the power you have and four of the 12" Memphis you can get pretty reasonably loud. Friend of mine has four 12's on a 1000.1 or whatever Memphis's new 1000w rms amp is and it's pretty loud. Impressed me

Do you happen to know if he is running a 1 ohm load or 2?

I could not figure out this four subs/one amp set up. The 1000 watt memphis amps are for 1ohm loads. You need 2 ohm woofers if you want to wire up 4 subs on a single amp on a 1 ohm load. Memphis does not make any 2 ohm woofers outside of the m3's and mojos which are at least 500 watt RMS woofers (2000 watt minimum so he cant be using these). How would you hook up Four 4 ohm memphis woofers (for a 2 ohm load) that take 1000 watts of power when the 1000.1 amps only output 700 watts at 2 ohms? Is he underpowering the subs a bit like what I would do in Option 1? Is there another way of wiring the subs to get to a 1 ohm load that I dont know about?
