okay, so I forgot to ask......which would be a better choice? =)

I am an american living in brazil, so my choices are limited. Most of the well-known brands are not sold here. The two combinations above will cost me in the neighborhood of $600 each.

thx

If you decide to go with the MTX subs, I'd go with a pair of the single voice coil 4 ohm versions and run them on the MTX amp. Two of the SVC subs wired in parallel to a 2 ohm load will give 300 watts to each sub and be stable on that amp.

The MTX should be quite a bit more efficient than the Lanzar and includes a subsonic filter if you plan on putting your subs in a ported enclosure.

Haven't ever heard the Bravox, but it might be a nice match to that MTX as well.

I agree that mtx + mtx is better. However, I made these combinations according to price. The Mtx amp + 1 Bravox sub is about the same price as the Lanzar amp + 2 Mtx subs. So, between these two combinations, what would you chose?

id say go with the 2mtx sub with lanzar optidrive1400d and wire it @1ohm(1000rms) and set gain correctly

If you go with the Lanzar amp, go with the single voice coil 4 ohm MTX subs rather than the dual voice coil. It will make setting the gains on the amp much simpler and should be a decent match for the amp.

I still like the MTX amp and whichever sub you choose for ported enclosures.
