Maybe expand the tank he's in? I got my gf a gold dollar sized red eared water slider last year and withing 6-7 months he was about as big around as a softball. It could be his surroundings? An ex of mine also had one in a small tank that didn't grow very much in comparison... maybe that or maybe I'm just mentally challenged tonight?

You need like 100 gallon tank. They grow to tank size. Friend has had one for 10 years in a 25 gallon tank only 6 inch diameter.

wow, that little guy's brother/sisters have really grown!!!

Good to see the little guys/galls/whateverthatfreak is still holding its own.

Try throwing a cricket in the tank w/ them. They will fight over it like dinosaurs!
