Ups fail!!!

No this is not a video that shows the UPS guy throwing my stuff across my yard. In fact, I would have wanted him to throw my stuff across the yard. Instead, he didnt deliver my package. Four packages to be exact. Two separate orders in two separate shipments from the same company. I tracked my packages and the report says "Delivered".

They were never delivered. I have never had any problems with UPS. I am not 100% sure of the process but I do know that UPS has recieved my claim and they called me to tell me that UPS will no longer be talking to me. All correspondence is to go thru the retailer from then on.

So its just a sit and wait game

I had a similar issue with a FedEx package a while ago. Contacted FedEx and all they did was told me to deal with the company and have them figure it out. My understanding for the shipping companies telling us (purchasers) to contact the company we bought from is because of insurance. Thankfully everything got worked out. Somehow the package arrived back to the place where I ordered parts from even though it showed delivered to me. Took **** near a month to get it resolved though. Just stay in touch with the retailer.

I was waiting for a package from ups once, watched the status go from out for delivery to delivered and yet I had no package. I called UPS and the lady said she would contact the driver and get back to me. About 10 minutes later she calls back and says he left it in the garage, I calmly informed her I didn't have a garage. She didn't know what to say except she'd try to get in touch with the driver but it's likely he wouldn't be back out until the next day. So I walked my whole neighborhood talking to everyone with a garage to no avail, thankfully my next door neighbor(who wasn't home when I left for my trek) was honest enough to come over and let me know it had been left at his place. Never liked ups.

Left it in the garage of the wrong freakin house? What a pos employee

Seriously, how hard is it to get an address right. Its on the curb and ure mail box

so did you ever get them?
Not yet. Delivery date was Friday the 13th. I was late getting home but my family was there to accept packages. I knew that my stuff was coming and I asked family to hang out until my stuff is delivered. UPS is consistent with the delivery times here. Almost guaranteed to be 11:30 am +/- 15 mins. I had to wait until Tuesday before I made any calls to ask WTF? I wasnt scheduled for a Sat delivery and Monday was MLK Day. I wanted to make sure that UPS had plenty of time to come back and deliver my stuff.

Well today is Saturday the 28th and the claim process is well underway. I got a call yesterday from UPS and they said that the claim is going to settle by next Friday the 3rd.

There are TWO things that I learned from this experience:

Have the shipper send items and place items on "Will Call" at my local UPS Customer Service center. About 3 miles away.

Also, I need to check addresses of places where I buy stuff online. It turns out that the company that I bought my equipment from is only 20 mins away from me. I could have avoided this entire scenario by simply checking an address :/

Sorry to hear of the issues from them,

I think people just get the wrong employee's I mean here in Rochester, MN I work at Kwiktrip (midwest gas station company) and our UPS guys are super nice and very adult, If I ordered something and this issue happens I could probably find out who the driver was since they come into my gas station and so far with in the past (Kicker CVR's, Kenwood Monoblock, Subjekt headphones) I've gotten them in a timely accurate manor.

Too bad not everyones as good as Rochester. :p (kidding)
