title says it all

Stock front battery - One deep cycle battery in the trunk + 240ALT

what r the pros and cons of this setup

someone told me i need to get an isolator

the car will always be runing when playing so i dont see why i need an isolator

does the isolator keep my main battery separate from the rear battery even if the car is runing?

let me know

:p

you need an isolator with two dissimilar batteries. i.e. different ah ratings, age, and type (lead acid, agm, lithium) or you want one if you want to save a battery for starting because you listen to music with the vehicle off.

Youre fine. But get a agm under the hood please

agm is a deep cycle style battery. Go get a AGM for under the hood. Dont waste all that money on a alt but cant get your batteries right

I already got the alt ill get a deep cycle battery for the rear for now and later yes ill get anothr deep cycle battery up front

I wanna know this

my front battery is stock and my rear is deep cycle

car always runing

any downside of that ?

different charging rates will shorten the overall lifespan of the batteries. In the short term, you'll have a bigger battery bank and better performance. Longevity wise, its not recommended but still doable.

So i need to get same battery as my rear up front ? Right ?

Cause the rear battery probly will be an xs power d4300

as long as they are both agm you are fine. Doesnt have to be the same brand or size or anything like that. If that costs too much for you, get some deka batteries or some C&D batteries or sears diehard platinum.

but i heard AGM doesnt do very well in high temperature
you heard very wrong. so i suggest you not listen to these people your hearing stuff from. although (x) agm might be built different than (y) agm and (x) isn't meant for under hood while (y) is. you gotta do your research first. a battery will say if its meant for under hood applications or not
