Two 10's or Two 12's? Type-R!

I have a Honda Civic 2003 sedan, and I was about to buy two 12's type-rs but my friend brought up the fact that my car will rattle like crazy so im currently re-thinking my choices. Will the 10's sound any different than the 12's when it comes to rattles/loose panels, etc? Im wondering if the 12's would be overkill for this type of car if im not trying to sound deaden it or anything? I dont want insane bass to a point where you cant hear anything, I just want to be able to have really good bass and be able to crank it up to impress sometimes..please help! Thanks alot to whoever responds

PS. the woofers will be Alpine Type-Rs in a ported box!

Can somebody please help me out? would two 12's be overkill for a 4-door honda civic without any extra work done? Or should I stick to the 10's type-rs?

no matter what you put in a modern car its gonna rattle.. go for more bang.. if you can fit 2 12''s get them... also wt amp are you gonna use

go with the 12s. i have a pair of 12s off 1.5k watts and it gets loud! just make sure you get a good ported box for them. the box is KEY.

Well...

If you can find some type ARRGHHHS ® with dual 1 Voice-Coils, I suppose you could get pretty loud. If not, you can get the dual-2 VC and wire them in Series-Parrallel to achieve a 2-ohm resistance level and then each sub would get 400 a piece... that should be enough. But, they would be louder with more power, of course.

But IIRC, The 10" and 12" Type ARGGHHH have the same motor... so it's an argue of space at that point.

Can you fit 12's? If not, grab the 10's.

But someone correct me if the Type ARGGHHSSS have different motors.

How much does a 12 type-arghhh weigh? How much space does it take up? Same goes for the 10's..
