I have a jeep grand cherokee with 6.5 Q series Quart's. I want to keep my tweeters in the stock location on the dash, but want to know which way they should fire for the best imaging and timing with the mid-woofer

Try adjusting the crossover, or the tweeters polarty.

Generally you should point them to a area just behind your rearview mirror, where the sunroof would be if you have one.

If you have the tweeter farther than 1 wave length at x-over freq you will screw up the response of the speakers.
