I'm gonna get some new components soon and have some ?s. I don't want to drill into my doors so would you recommend I put them in my dash under the windshield (stock location) or have it placed right next to the speaker in the door pointed up(by my feet)? Also, is it a good idea to have the crossovers in the actual door like under the armrest? I'm worried about moisture/rain getting in and messing them up. What are some common locations to install crossovers? I was just thinking behind the back seat where my amps are. I want access to them if I need to and don't want to be taking on/off the door panels. Thanks.

A-pillar maybe..

for xovers, maybe behind the HU.

Not looking to drill into the car. Either up in the dash underneath the windshield or down in the door panel by my feet pointed up.

Nah I'm not gonna drill into my car. I don't think I'm gonna put em in the dash cuz I'm worried the high frequency reflection off the windshield will mess up the staging. I'll probably go ahead and put em in the kick and point em at my head. Thanks for the help.

I've always liked the way kick panels sound. Do that.

If you have a decent EQ in your HU then you can do them in the dash and tame em down if necessary...
